Joon is an award winning Director and has 22 years experience in Architecture and Design at the international stage. He has worked for a number of the world’s leading design firms, most noticeably at Foster+Partners, Jean Nouvel, Renzo Piano and most recently, senior Vice President of Chang-Jo.
Joon has worked across many different sectors and always puts design first, his international reputation as a designer has allowed him to lead some prestigious global projects such as Virgin Galactic’s Spaceport project in New Mexico, planning to completion, Incheon International Airport Phase III, Samsung C&T R&D centre, Korea, Panama International Airport, Panama City, Standard Life’s HQ in London, Grand Intercontinental Hotel, Korea, Parnas Tower Luxury Collection, Korea – Hotel.
At Heta Joon leads the Design process at director level and also manages all international projects and clients, he brings his passion, flair and dedication to perfection to every one of our projects.
Elie Daher is a Franco-Lebanese Architect holding a Doctorate in Architecture with extensive experience in architectural research and practice. He moved to HETA Architects in Seoul one year ago, after working at the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST). His research focuses on Architecture, Urbanism, and Construction, with an emphasis on sustainability, urban regeneration, and the built environment. Elie has collaborated on European Commission-funded urban regeneration projects and developed his doctoral thesis in partnership with KU Leuven, exploring participatory approaches in urban planning.
Currently, he manages projects at various stages of development and leads the integration of BIM technology into these projects in Seoul. His blend of research and practical experience allows him to contribute to innovative and sustainable design solutions, helping to address modern urban challenges. Elie is passionate about advancing architecture and urban development through visionary design strategies.
Beduro is an Architectural Designer at Heta. After graduation from Hanyang University in South Korea, Beduro completed his Masters in Architecture at AA School of Architecture in London.
At Heta, Beduro has worked on the Southwest St. Helier Planning Framework in Jersey, a cultural hub for a flagship retail department store for the Hanstyle S. Korean fashion brand in central Seoul, a competition for a childcare facility, a luxury hotel in Guam, and a commercial tower in Kolon. While living in South Korea, Beduro worked as a site supervisor for residential projects, managing construction quality and timelines.
He was also involved in residential, cultural and exhibition projects including: UIA World Congress Seoul Pavilion - Hyper Layered Grid Durban South Africa(won), Paju Unjeong Complex, and Liveable Jinchun Innovation City Library in South Korea.
Daniel is Group Chief Operating Officer with a broad range of experience gained over the past fifteen years across Architecture, Engineering, Construction and Real Estate. As a qualified project manager, he focuses on using his vision and hunger for digital data driven design to deliver complex projects. He has worked for a number of well known organisations of varying size and focus. Having previously grown his own consultancy, he has experience in aspects of business management, developing digital strategies, managing consultant teams and project delivery, with strong commercial and leadership skills.
In his previous role as Digital Director at Sheppard Robson he was responsible for a number of major projects delivering digital innovation for major clients such as, Westfield, Cambridge University Estates, Canary Wharf Group, Olympic Legacy project and Interserve.
With over fifteen years of global architectural experience, Jonathan has successfully led front-end design teams across various sectors. He has contributed to award-winning projects at prestigious practices, including Broadway Malyan and TP Bennett. Jonathan’s expertise encompasses collaboration with urban designers and master planners on fast-paced project work, feasibility studies, and competitions, as well as delivering projects across all RIBA work stages. His diverse portfolio features projects in Central London, Southeast Asia, and Scandinavia, reflecting a contemporary and globally informed approach to architecture.
In his role as Studio Design Lead at Heta Architects, Jonathan ensures high design quality while overseeing processes, client engagement, collaboration, and business development. His experience spans multiple sectors:
• Residential: One-off homes, apartments, and small to large housing developments.
• Commercial: Workplace, retail, and commercial spaces.
• Hospitality: Hotels, sports facilities, luxury villas, and infrastructure projects
Razvan completed his studies at the University of Architecture and Urbanism "Ion Mincu" (UAUIM) in Bucharest, followed by a master’s degree in heritage buildings at the École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Toulouse. He has worked on various projects in technology, residential, and hospitality fields, focusing on design, visualizations, and BIM implementation. Razvan uses Revit BIM to collaborate seamlessly with structural and MEP teams for smooth project coordination. With experience in different architectural sectors, Razvan has honed his skills in design, drafting, and 3D modelling using Revit. Taking part in various competitions has helped him turn ideas into clear visual designs that bring together different fields.
He finds inspiration in everyday life, art, music, and movies. Razvan keeps up with current trends by attending exhibitions and aims to balance creativity with practical solutions.
Monica is an Architectural Designer at Heta Architects, with six years of previous working experience in Architecture and Design in various international regions. She studied undergraduate in Sydney, Australia and subsequently her diploma and post grad in the UK. She has worked for a number of renowned design studios in Vietnam and Japan. Her experience aligns with special interest and deep understanding to environment that includes bamboo structures in Asia region. Since joining Heta in 2022, Monica has continued to implement her specialist sustainable design thinking and develop her cross sector experience, working across our London and South Korea studios. Utilising her language skills and knowledge of Korean culture she has been a key member of the team based in London liaising between the east and west to enhance knowledge share and technical expertise between our studios with a focus more recently in the high-technology industrial sectors. With passionate work ethic, her expertise is growing between architectural design, assisting project management and client engagement.
Gabriel have contributed to a wide range of international projects, spanning healthcare, retail, office, and residential sectors. Specializing in 3D modelling, texturing, lighting, and rendering, he brings creativity and technical precision to concept design and presentation materials. His expertise is centred on Revit, alongside 3Ds Max, Octane Render, Adobe Creative Suite, and AutoCAD, all honed through hands-on experience and specialized training.
With strong problem-solving skills and clear communication, he collaborates smoothly with colleagues to ensure the efficient execution of complex projects.
With over 15 years of experience, Nazareno is passionate about the transformative power of design and its ability to positively impact society. He has led projects across Italy, Spain, Turkey, China, and Thailand before settling in Korea, working with renowned firms like Gensler and NBBJ. His diverse experience across cultures and regions has given him a deep understanding of client needs, allowing him to skilfully translate ideas into tangible realities.
Nazareno thrives on creating innovative, functional designs that contribute meaningfully to the built environment, continuously striving to push the boundaries of architecture and design.
Caleb is a lifelong learner with an undergraduate degree in History and a Master of Architecture from the University of Calgary. He thrives on diverse projects, including community centres, hotels, and resorts, with a particular passion for designs that foster community and serve the public good. His approach attempts to blend raw, thoughtful materiality with contextual sustainability and urban accessibility, all enhanced by his expertise in BIM technology and parametric design.
Caleb loves to spend his time being as creative as possible and can often be found immersed in 3D modelling, producing animations, or building miniatures.
A highly specialized professional in BIM methodology, with formal education at the postgraduate level from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. He has extensive experience as a BIM Manager and Coordinator in international projects of various types, such as the Moderna laboratories in Madrid, the Sofitel Thalassa Hotel in Algeria, the Doha Metro, and the São Paulo Airport. Responsible for the implementation of BIM standards, creation of execution plans (BEP), and development of collaboration strategies at companies like SIMALGA Internacional and TYPSA S.A. He has experience both in design phase coordination and on-site, performing roles related to project execution and Quantity Surveyor tasks.
He is proficient in advanced BIM tools such as Revit, Dynamo, Navisworks, and BFC Managers, and has experience in generating clash detection reports and model audits. Additionally, he has taught BIM at the University of Alcalá de Henares, contributing to the training of future professionals.
Karina is a Part 1 Architectural Assistant, graduated from Newcastle University studying Architecture. Since joining the studio, she has worked on a number of competitions and mixed used developments around London. She is interested in producing visualisations and graphic design with her work previously exhibited at a London Gallery during her undergraduate studies. Prior to joining Heta, she has work experience in a construction and engineering practice in Hong Kong.
Jon is an award winning Creative Director with over twenty years of experience in Architecture and Design, in the UK and internationally. He has worked for a number of the world’s leading design firms, most notably in his previous roles as a Partner at Foster + Partners and Global Creative Director at Benoy.
Jon is an Architect, Urban Designer and has worked across many different sectors through all work stages, to deliver a number of award winning projects for prestigious clients, such as Bloomberg London HQ, Imperial War Museum, Apple Flagship Paris, Imperial College, Alibaba China HQ and Heathrow Commercial Masterplan.
