Heta has worked to develop a bespoke luxury community on a prestigious and unique site in Seoul. The task was to create a special place to live in keeping with the mutual values of wellness & multigenerational living of the client and Heta.

Heta took this brief and applied it to the given site which is a prime natural location on a gentle slope overlooking Seoul, surrounded by forest but was itself in a state of post light industrial aggregate build.

Heta set out the concept for both a sustainable overall development strategy and wellness focused lifestyle offer with a design that imagines; 'what if this site was re-greened?

Heta developed a designed for manufacture and assembly system that saves the client time and money on site, but also allows each unit to be configured to user tastes from a virtual warehouse of components.

Wellness facilities that cater to all the enriching elements of community life, for every generation, that are blended into the harmonious natural surrounds of the landscape are at the heart of the development.

It is proposed to replant the slope with as much natural forest and green space as possible, within which a softly winding route through that allows each person on site the feeling of living within nature yet being able to look out over the valley to the city beyond.

Within this naturalised route, dedicated park space zones exist where the wellness facilities enhance the user’s everyday lives and help bolster community activities and social integration.

These range from co-working spaces to luxury gym and spa facilities, with a market hall where fresh food and produce is delivered daily.

Each of these destinations within the development help to create the sense of community and a forest dwelling village that in turns enhances the wellness of each resident.

The concepts of wellness of living, and all the 'surrounding' integrated parts of a development and its community offer are as crucial as the home itself.
